Has any commentator ever embarrassed themselves like Foreman did with Tito/Hopkins?

Has any commentator ever embarrassed themselves like Foreman did with Tito/Hopkins?

I was just watching a copy of the HBO telecast of Tito Trinidad vs Bernard Hopkins, and two things really stood out for me in this fight.

    1. How good Hopkins was

    2. How biased George Foreman was for Tito

Round after round Hopkins is giving Tito a boxing lesson and beating the bejesus out of Tito and it pretty much takes Foreman 10 rounds to work out that Tito is going to lose the fight.

So I gots to thinking, has any other commentator made a fool of themselves to the extent that Big George did, for so many rounds of a lopsided fight?

I thought Kellerman looked like an idiot when Casamayor fought Katsidis and He was riding Katsidis all night and even after Katsidis got KOd Kellerman made it sound as if he didnt think the stoppage was right. Casamayor went to Kellerman and Lewis to give them a fist pump afterwards and Kellerman just seemed kind of awkward about it and hesitant.
I love that fight. Made alot of Vcash on it. That ws before i started betting real money online...

Harry Carpenter's often ridiculous bias for British fighters.

    Wilfred Benitez vs Maurice Hope
    Sumbu Kalambay vs Herol Graham

Are two that come to mind right away.

Hagler, legend though he is, made a bit of a blunder in the Hatton vs Castillo bout. He started going on about how Hatton's bodywork hadn't been effective literally 5 seconds before Hatton broke Castillo's ribs with a body shot.

He told Hopkins he needs to be safe and go for a knock out because you can't trust judges.
I love when George Foreman did commentary.

Yeah George Foreman does that all the time, he usually favours the bigger puncher. I think he was the same during Toney/Barkley

Why did George quit commentating for HBO?? Does anyone remember when Jim made that religious offensive statement during the Prince Naz and Barrera fight, and George put Jim in his place??

That was before the Tito/Hopkins fight, but I would love to see and hear more footage of that.

Even though it was short and sweet, Kellerman also made a fool of himself during/after the first round of RJJ vs Calzaghe.

He was then unusually quiet for most of the rest of the fight.

 Which Network was Hagler doing commentary for?

Was there any fallout in the press over what George said to Lampley here?

Whilst it appeared that Lampley came through unscathed career-wise, it is not hard to imagine how under only slightly different circumstances this could have been a career ending situation for Lampley.

He must have been really pissed off with George after that.
