Has any fighter wasted as much god given talent as Prince Naseem?

I was thinking about him earlier and what a waste. People get on Toney's back for not making the most of himself but at least the guy won titles in 3 weights and has had a long career. Whereas Naz lost 1 fight against a future hall of famer and threw in the towel after 1 later fight. He had mad power but was way too arrogant and thought he didnt need to keep improving himself(or he just made too much $$$ too quickly). We could be talking about him the way we do mab and em but he let himself down and never had the heart. To me his story is as sad as michaels nunn's, i just dont feel sorry for Naz cus he was such a *****, but damn he could of been so much more.

Hamed was ruined when he changed trainers. Suarez tried to make him a ballet dancer and did the same to Freitas. It's a shame. Judah has natural talent also, needs help.

His career was fine..when it came to fighting another elite fighter he just wasnt good enough.

People talk about fighters throwing away talent...but boxing is so often more then just talent. Some guys just dont have the mental strength and intangibles that others do.
IMO his career is just about as good as it could have been.

In all seriousness he was completely schooled by Barerra. His 'talent' was not apparent that night, and given that he never waged another claim against an elite fighter, I colclude that his talent was never that great.

Tyson was a great fighter. Don King knocked him out.

Yeah, Hammed was totally schooled. But that was just a bad style match-up. Kind of like Barerra losing to Junior Jones.

He didnt waste it totally, he got to a certain point and then let himself go, never seen a British boxer fight people at world level and be so comfortable, i will always argue that a peak Hamed in his best shape and frame of mind would always defeat MAB as he was simply better

Thats whats disappointing about how his career ended, it could have been so much better and he could have beaten them ALL, its a shame really as he was the total package a few years.

I consider Hamed to be the greatest fighter I have ever seen. His ability to do things inside the ring was just phenomenal. I think the guy was really done in some of his last few fights. He wasn't the same fighter like before, it looks like he has lost some steam.
