Has any fighter wasted as much god given talent as Prince Naseem?

Hamed proved himself when he came to America, stepped up the competition and fought Kevin Kelly in Madison Square Garden. Yeah, Hammed was dropped 3 times but what an action fight.

I wouldn't consider Hamed a waste of talent. He simply never reached his full potential because he lost interest after he lost the fight to Barrera. He never recovered from that loss.

Corrie Sanders waste his talent, but part of it was because he was blacklisted because he was from South Africa.

Wasted? Not really he accompilshed quite alot.
He was just hammered by a much better fighter on the night. Lets face it he wasn't a great boxer but he had freakish reflexes, awykwardness and one punch power.

Hamed was the youngest British world champion ever.

He unified the featherweight division, became the linear champ, beat nine world title holders, headlined Madison Square Garden and earned in excess of £30 million.

    What a waste of talent.

Hamed's style was that he was the best and was unbeatable, when he did get beaten i think he lost heart and couldn't really continue with his cocky style because he had lost.

That's it, that's the long and short of it. The myth about Hamed having more talent than he actually did is one of the more galling being paddled about.

Face it people, Hamed simply wasn't THAT good.
