How has he been winning 2-3 slams a year after his loss to Nadal in 2008?

He's been on a slump for the last 3 years.

He's only really bounced back last year at Wimbledon.

Not sure how it's trolling when I'm actually listing facts. But ok.

You're losing the argument and you proceed to call me a troll.

    How does that work?

    I do.

Tell me how it's wrong. Whenever one of the top 6 players in the world wins wimbledon, they're automatically bumped into the #1 position. Am I wrong?

Tell me when this wasn't the case.

when Nadal won in 2008, he became #1 immediately after
When Djokovic won wimbledon in 2011, he became #1 immediately after
When Federer won 2012, he became #1 right after

So explain how I'm wrong and disprove what I just said.

Calling me wrong without a reasonable retort does nothing for you.

dude, if you watch tennis, you'd know why you're wrong lol

hint: they work on a points system. just because you win a tournament doesn't make you #1 automatically

I'd say Kobe had a damn near good career. But in no way does he come close to Mayweather when we talk about domination.

Yup and winning wimbledon usually and if not always gives you the boost to get the #1 position. It is always like that.

You still haven't given me an example where the winner of wimbledon was not granted the #1 position afterwards.

Kelly Slater in surfing, Tiger in golf, Mayweather in boxing. They're all considered the best by most fans. In terms of who's the best of them all, you really can't compare. People usually side with what their favorite sport is and say that person is the best of all time! lol

I'm going with Mayweather! :p lol

It's hard to say Floyd has dominated for 17 years when he didn't take on all comers. In other sports, you usually have to compete against the best to win. But in boxing, you can weasal your way to an impressive record despite avoiding some tough comp.

As for the question itself, there are too many to mention.

rofl you couldn't be more wrong..ranking works on points system that depends on how well you did in that tournament the previous year

recent winners of wimbledon have either been 1st or 2nd in the world anyhow so that's why you're getting this notion that it automatically makes you #1

if some guy ranked 20th in the world won wimbledon, they won't even crack the top 10 ranking

edit: all grandslams have the same points you can earn by winning.....your argument is invalid

If he fought the best at their best and won and fought all comers and won then he'd be dominating, he's dominating bums which is not much of an achievement.
