This is the same guy who thinks Floyd's power is the same as it was at 130 despite him having a KO% of under 50% since leaving 130 lbs.

 

Then how come most guys lose power as they go up in weight?

 

Cotto was also dropped by Torres and hurt by Corley that doesnt mean much,different fighters and different styles.

You also must have seen a different fight if you think that JMM was never hurt when he fought Pac.

And if you're going to mention his stoppage of Hatton then you can do the same with fraud who also sent Ricky down with one punch.

The KO against Cotto was a flash knockdown, he just clearly caught him with a shot he didn't see coming, Hatton got whacked with a good shot but clearly gave up laying there on the canvas BTW. Manny's "power" comes from his speed which when carried to a higher weight class can actually be a more powerful weapon because fighters are used to people throwing slower shots. This would also explain why Jones, and Mosley carried their power into upper weight classes b/c they both have fast hands.

 

Yeah I know, I'm more concerned with him maintaining his speed actually. you're right, of course his power would increase. I admit I was wrong above. I am skeptical of what he is putting into his body though.

He didnt stop JMM cause he takes caution to the limit not cause he couldnt,if he had gone all out for the KO he would've stopped him even Ray Charles could see that.

 

You mean were not where dumbass. Anyway, how can you say for certainty that his power has stayed the same when he has changed his style according to you and is barely hurting these guys? Floyd was averaging about 40-45 punches at 130 lbs. The same is the case now. Look at the Corely and Gatti fights. He was unleashing 50 punches a round in those fights and was landing bombs. Both fighters were able to stand up to the punishment. Gatti's corner had to stop that fight.

 

He was going all out towards the end of that fight and still couldn't stop JMM. Just tell me this, on what are you basing your theory that his power is the same?
