Has anybody here know if Samuel Peter...

I heard he freaked out when McKinley would not let him eat his Nigerian soups and whatnot, and they almost ended training camp because Peter wasn't allowed the kind of calorie intake he's been on.

 

It's really hard to believe that Peter actually won the WBC belt when you consider how his camps have been run. A world-class heavyweight acting very immature and being surrounded by the wrong people. McKinley is just a gopher basically. Tyson sent him out to do the talking at one of the press conferences for the Lewis fight so he's pretty much just a mouthpiece.

 

the biggest mistake they made was bringing in McKinley who is really just Don King's house trainer for all of his fighters.

Team Peter should have stuck with Jesse Reid he had Peter looking real good for the 2 fights he was with them.

 

Lamon Brewster was 2-0 with Jesse Reid as well. Maybe Peter and Brewster were getting advice from the same person.

 

I never understood why Lamon let Jesse Reid go. He had Lamon fighting like a tank.

 

Yah I can only imagine what kind of fights they had in the gym..

McKinley: "Take yo hand of that food yo bum.. not yours, not yours!"
Peter: "OOH I WAN NO MONEY, FOOD NOW GRERYNSRYNSRTN!!!!"

Then Peter reportedly cries on the telephone to Eddie Mustafa Muhammad. :rofl
