They are both 33 Casuals are done with you by then Newer shiny young spry boxers such as Ryan & Tank belong to the casuals. “It’s a young man’s game”
Yeah not the biggest fight in.boxing history But neither Jermell or Canelo are hype jobs They are both undisputed.
You're not listening. I didn't say "best possible boxer" he could fight. I said "most accomplished and decorated fighter" he could fight. And "arguably the biggest and most explosive puncher" he could fight. Beterbiev is not someone he could fight because 1) he's injured 2) he has to fight Callum Smith. So that's not a possible fight right now. Bivol he's already fought and he isn't as accomplished or as decorated as Charlo, nor is he as explosive or dangerous as a puncher as Charlo. More difficult to beat than Charlo? Yes. "Better"? Yes, but not more accomplished or as big or explosive of a puncher. Benavidez is not as accomplished as Charlo. He's heavy handed and durable, and arguably "better", possibly more difficult for Canelo to beat, but not an explosive puncher like Jermell. The Benavidez fight should happen next if he beats Charlo and if Benavidez beats Andrade. If you'd rather see Canelo fight Benavidez first, that's understandable, but we're getting Benavidez Andrade which is a great fight that wouldn't be happening otherwise. That's an important fight for the division and it gives not only Benavidez but also Andrade an opportunity to earn a shot at Undisputed by beating a quality opponent. So this scenario creates a fun scenario of seeing Benavidez and Andrade battle it out for a shot at the winner of Canelo Charlo which is great for boxing fans.
Canelo started his career fighting in a lower weight class than Charlo, and fought at 154 for most of his career.
You're talking to a Canelo fan like I've never followed him.. lol.. and you know this too, which makes what you say even funnier.
Well you're acting like you don't know anything about him, acting like he's some cookie cutter Super Middleweight. He started from a lower weight than Jermell did, he moved up multiple weight classes just to get to 154-lb. And when he moved up to Middleweight to fight GGG, no one thought he would move up an additional weight class to SMW. Jermell could easily be fighting at Middleweight, he stayed at 154 because he can still make the weight despite being big enough for MW because his twin brother was fighting at Middleweight and he's not gonna campaign in the same weight class as his brother. So that's why he's jumping over Middleweight. Unless you think Jermell is ducking his brother lol.
You're not making any sense. I'm pointing out that Canelo and Jermell were both 154-lbers for most of their career and they stayed at 154 for as long as they could safely make the weight. There's reasons why Jermell has not moved up to Middleweight, because his brother's there. There's reasons why Canelo moved up, because the demand to fight GGG and because he was outgrowing 154. In reality Canelo fighting at Super Middleweight and becoming Undisputed there is pretty noteworthy because it's not a weight anyone thought he would be fighting at. So for Jermell to move up is not what you're making it out to be. It makes a lot of sense considering his brother is at Middleweight and this is his opportunity to move up and fight a guy who spent most of his career in his weight class. This is a guy who's big for 154 but has insane conditioning and weight cutting abilities. Putting this in perspective has nothing to do with being a fanboy. I'm a fan of both Canelo and Jermell and this is a fight that I've been wanting to see for a long time, now it's finally happening.
I'm pointing out you're the biggest canelo fanboy on the site. Everyone knows I support Canelo, but you on the other hand take it to another level. Have at it homie, I won't defend canelo on this one.
No, you're ignoring the facts and are being a party pooper. We have a great fight that you should be excited about but instead you're trying to paint me as a fan boy because I'm genuinely looking forward to what should be a great fight. Being excited about this matchup doesn't make you a fanboy.
Nah I'm just passionate about boxing and big fights. Also I rate Charlo and give him a genuine chance to win. Fan boys typically predict the fighter they are fanboying will dominate everyone. A Canelo fan boy would be someone (like you) who thinks he will easily beat Charlo, someone who thinks Charlo has no chance (like you) is a Canelo fan boy.
