I always felt the same besides a few like the GGG fights, even when he was younger i realised him being Mexican was the major push even though in all that time he has proved a lot & earned so much respect.

I said since Yildirum all those fights were before that. But I disagree about the Callum Smith fight before it happened he was recognized as the lineal champion at 168 it's because his performance was so poor that the fight was forgettable.

Nah I didn't go. Some of my mates went and said it was good. I have been to the UFC in Sydney before but I am just not that hardcore of a fan.

    No way:nonono
Jermello is a name & an undisputed champ at the very least.

since GGG III i will give you that.
Comparing him to Yildrim is a bridge too far…
Just A little more respect on his name please

I am not comparing him to Yildrim in terms of caliber.

ah ok you mean as far as public interest?
I’d say about as many people
That watched Nelo Vs GGG III will watch Nelo vs Mello , actually Prolly more.
With about the same amount giving JERMELL a chance against Canelo as GGG III

only the die hardest of Canelo fans got up for Yildrim Mando title defense.

It's not one of the biggest fights in boxing history. It just isn't. It's a moderately big fight that has quite a few flaws in it from both sides.

It's not Hagler vs Leonard or the Rumble In The Jungle or Holyfield vs Tyson, etc. It's a massive step down from those fights. It's an interesting fight but hardly historical.

Some of you need to read up on the history of the sport.
