That this whole rift between both camps could be a carefully calculated plot to get more viewers into the fray? How many people are aware of this fight because it's not happening? Many, MANY more. I've got friends who rarely give two shits about boxing who are ranting and raving about this fight only after it was called off! Also, I've heard rumors this fight was initially planned for Vegas in the summertime (2010) outdoors. There has been rumblings about the return to outdoor fights before this ultra-fight was in the pipeline. What better way to stir up interest? Think about it for a little. If this is true, a lot of you guys have bought this one hook, line, and sinker.
So far I'm proving my point. You guys are too wrapped up in threads regarding Pac/Floyd. It's almost sad, and the new poster names coming out of the woodwork...it's crazy. I bet there's some hardcore people with three names trying to prove a point.
Yeah, we've had threads on this before. It wouldn't surprise me. Either way, the interest is certainly there. Our local paper rarely ever mentions boxing unless it's a local guy. Virtually never acknowledges upcoming big fights or their outcomes and now it's been reporting on the twists and turns of the negotiations for a fight all of a sudden. I've said this before too that I'm not certain it's not all promoter-planned script.
I don't think it's scripted. With the reputation of both fighters sinking, just for a stir up. Strike when the iron is hot.
Thanks for the update, I've been so damn busy it's hard to keep up with what's being said around here. As time progresses promoters have gotten slicker. So slick to the point you really have to wonder...
All the casual fans dont give a ****, really. All this **** is just kinda confusing them and making them turn to MMA. If this truly is a plot well im kinda tired of following it and im glad Pac decided to look elsewhere. I just still cant believe he's considering Clottey.
