    this guy

    http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=23727&cat=boxer

Hes 40 year old, got ko'd in his last fight and hasnt won in his last 5.

Some people on other forums have been saying this is a stay busy fight but seeing as Andy fought 2 weeks ago he doesnt need a stay busy fight. Surely hes better trying to get a meaningful fight rather than risking himself against this fighter.

In my opinion this is what is wrong with boxing!!!

He needs learning fights, this doesn't appear to be one, although keeping busy is never a bad thing

His careers being going nowhere since the Vera loss. Steward has made some mistakes in managing him, he should have got him signed up to a promoter (Golden Boy and Top Rank were interested at one stage) and they would have got him regular fights that would help advance his career.

If its ok for David lemieux to build his record against scrubs and get highly ranked in the process purely by keeping busy, then its ok for Andy lee.

Lee being busy is a good thing.

Thing is Lemieux is stepping it up and has beaten a former world title challenger and a man that battered Duddy about and should of got the 'W'. Plus he's 21 years old and Lee's 26 and got a loss on his record.

Ayala has got to be the worst title challenger for a middle weight belt of the last decade. Also feather fisted. Ayala best win is a draw against Sergio Mora.

Ayala is Davids best win the rest of his opponents are no better than Troy lowry.

Ayala's no worse then Rubio or Lockett. Comparing them is pointless as ones a up and comer and the other now should really be pushing towards getting a title shot..should really be at peak of his powers but continues to fight against sub standard opposition.

you really believe that Walid Schmicet beat Duddy or are you just trying to make a point to wind BBB up?

Anyway, this is a glorified spar and no one could defend the fight as a meaningful contest except Andy's bank manager.

here is Lee this week at the reopening of the 5th St gym

Walid Schmicet imo deserved at least a draw in that fight. I don't think i'm the only one on here that thinks that either.

come on, I know there was people aching for Duddy to lose and Walid looked like he was about to make their wet dreams come through in the first 4 rounds but Schmicet hardly landed a glove on Duddy in the second half of the fight - and Duddy is not exactly elusive.

Yes it is, Fighters fighting in meaningless one sided fights. Andy Lee is not a Rookie he is 26 and this is his 25th fight. There is no point in this fight at all, he doesnt need to "keep busy" because hes just fought two weeks ago, it is not a "learning fight" because Lee is past this stage and apparently only $10 a ticket so from a financial point of view it doesnt make sense either.
