Has anyone clearly lost by Compubox numbers, but deservedly won the fight?

Has anyone ever thrown less punches AND/OR landed less, but still won a fight and deserved to win it?

I think Adamek vs Steve Cunningham may fit the bill, but I don't have the Compubox numbers confirmation.

Can you think of any other fights that fit this description?

    Not Cotto.

Clottey outlanded him by a lot. Outlanding him in 8 out of 12 Rounds. And deserved to win.

too many people think too highly of this compubox stats, and it's a total load of bullocks that can't dictate who wins what rounds, so it means nothing, all it does is calculate overall punches thrown and landed, which means nothing because fights are won round by round, not by overall punches throughout the whole fight.

The thing about compubox, is that it doesn't necessarily take clean punching into effect.

not that i care much about compubox stats but how does it work? and how accurate is it at judging a landed punch?

Compubox dopesn't mean ****. My eyes tell me who wona fight, not some old guy hitting a button saying a punch landed.

Castillo out landed Floyd in that first fight, was the Champion was also the man comming forward and had a HUGE margin in Power shots thrown and landed and some how Floyd won, what ****s me up more than Floyd getting the win is people like you who seem to think he actually deserved to win that fight, No he did not especially when you have the champion doing more than enough to defend and the challenger not doing **** to take the title

Hopkins -Calzaghe. Although, I felt Joe won, others may disagree.

mayweather-castillo 1...try claiming you deserve to win a fight when you walk forward for the first five rounds and do nothing but get outboxed

It doesn't matter who is the "Champion" or "Challenger". Whoever wins a round deserves to be scored the round. It's really that simple. Don't complicate things on yourself.
