If Pacquiao vs. Mayweather turns out to be a savage battle then Floyd could need weeks to recover. Better still he could get badly injured, like any other fighter?

He can hardly recuperate properly in a jail cell! Is that at the back of Floyd's mind, or his management team's?

Shouldn't Top Rank and Manny consider that?

    Serious question!

Him getting his ass beat then going to jail would be karma of the highest order.

I would rather spend my sentence in the prison infirmary than in my cell.

Taking the fact that you think Floyd is a dick, out of the equation, is there a point here though?

Floyd is going to a "Las Vegas" Correctional Facility, for what will likely end up being a fortnight.

    Google Barlinnie Prison, that's "Time"

Just because you win doesn't mean you recover immediately.

Leonard was bed ridden for days after he fought Benitez.

I think it's more a mind-game between the promoting parties. Arum & Co don't want to let Golden Boy decide everything, and the same the other way around. And now Mayweather has a chance to earn a lot more and three weeks extra to build up. This should scream "let's negotiate" and make it a deal from Mayweather's side. Mind-game.

And, I believe that Floyd already has agreed to fight some other guy, this is just a scam from his side. So, either he accepts the 26th. So it either will be a fight, or he calls their bluff.

It woun't be a big deal to cancel MGM at all.

I spent a whopping 3.5 hours behind bars on a disorderly conduct charge back in college, and that's all I care to ever know about the penal system.

I just think that whatever time he does will be easy time. They'll separate him from the general population and he'll rest and recover on a pillow stuffed with hundreds with a bank account full of millions.

I had a buddy that had to do 2 days for a DUI. He turned himself in at like 6pm and was out at 4am. 2 days?

    So be it.

I imagine Floyd will serve no more than two-thirds (57 days) of his sentence.

dumb ass question after duumb ass question. thats a what if question. and if if was a 5th we would all be drunk. floyd want need to recover like he was in a ****ing car accident or something. floyd will win in impressive fashion then do his time. end of story on to the next one.
