Has anyone ever seriously tested Floyd Mayweather's chin?

Or is his defence too good?

I haven't seen many of his fights. Did the likes of Castillo seriously test his chin?

Yah, Castillo popped him a couple of times. And considering his KO record, he hits pretty hard. Corrales caught him once or twice, and so did DLH. His chin is underrated.

Couldn't agree more. He's been getting hit in the face by bigger men since he was a toddler - I'd bet he can handle a lot more than people think. Fortunately for him, his shoulder first stance keeps him from getting hit flush more often than not.

That just pushed him off balanced , and it didn't put him on his ass .. Corley nailed floyd flush with a right Hook floyd didn't see. The shot had floyd stepping in pot holes.

id have to disagree. in large part because of his defensive style, hes never really been in a war, with the exception of the castillo fight which most people feel castillo won. and im not a money may hater but i think calling his chin underrated is a stretch. hes never beaten someone who is in their prime and is known for awesome punching power. this doesnt take away from his record but merely gives it a little bit of perspective

I'll give you that but let's agree that Oscar's left hook and Hatton's left hook to the gut didn't find Mayweather in 22 rounds. Not once.

Yes I remember this shot clearly - possibly the only time Mayweather has ever been visibly hurt - but I wouldn't say he was on ***** street.

Corrales was known for his awesome punching power. As a matter of fact, in his prime, Corrales was one of the only fighters in the past 10 yrs who was capable of ending a fight on one punch (no accumilation required) Castillo as well was known as a powerful puncher. A war is not needed to be caught flush and dropped or to test someone's chin. Mayweather has been caught flush by some big punchers (Judah, DLH, Castillo) and not shown any ill effects.

I don't think Hatton hurt him.

The Worst I ever saw Mayweather hurt was by "Chop Chop" Corley. He nailed him clean on the jaw with a right hook Mayweather never saw coming. And when I say he was hurt he was hurt. Out on his feet. But the idiot Corley proceeded to throw completely meaningless little flurries to the body and eventually let Floyd off the hook.. Like if it was a mistake he hurt Mayeather.

I would argue that "out on his feet" is a bit of an overstatement.

Zab, Oscar, Chico, JLC and Corley tested it and he passed.
