    Hopkins is old and past it therefore he will not be able to compete like he would have done at his best ergo steam rolling, :good

    Yeah and another European poster on this site once said that Sven Ottke was greater then Sugar Ray Robinson and he really believed it.

    Im not seeing the difference between what he said and what you just said.....Both were STUPID and totally untrue.

    Thanks,dont want to sound 'foolish':good
    OK;
    The fact that he hasnt been steamrolled before doesnt mean its unthinkable or unlikely is the point i was making,due to intangibles Hops hasnt really encountered before.
    Irrespective of pedigree and prior opponents,Hops is 43, semi retired and fighting a far bigger man than usual;those factors could be crucial in the same way other factors were crucial in the downfall of the fighters i mentioned earlier.:good

    BTW whos Roy Jones Jr?:huh

    Because if a fighter is shot he is prone to be blown out by a good fighter, let alone a great one. BHops has gradually looked worse and worse for the last half decade so is he all of a sudden going to hit the fountain of youth???

    Well, it's worth pointing out that Hopkins is 43 years old and Calzaghe is a prime all-time great who is naturally bigger than him and probably the best up-and-up fighter Hopkins has ever fought (not pound-for-pound, but in a direct head-to-head sense) besides Jones. I don't think Calzaghe will demolish him, but neither do I believe that notion to be ridiculous.

    Calzaghe slaps and doesn't have real power. Hopkins has never been stopped, so how can people think Joe will stop Nard?

    Some sore loser said Calzaghe slaps so it`s the only thing the haters got to go on, as above. Bandwagon blues just keep on rollin out:)
    I suppose when you throw over a 1000 punches tho it`s occasional that you let the odd slap out. 1 thing for sure he will knock Nard spark out or Roach will be throwing the towel in.

    jones ***** slapped him all over the ring. Taylor, perhaps the second best middleweight, beat him twice easily. to say bernard will starch Calzahe is a stretch

    Serious question....when did Calzaghe last stop or knock out a good opponent?

    I feel there is no factual basis for your remark.
