    Good shout.

    SRR?

How old was Ali when he returned from his hiatus?

    I'm sure there are plenty.

But I love me some Hopkins.

Archie Moore probably takes it. Beating all these top fighters, some of them HOFers, multiple times.

    B-Hop Past 30:

Wins: Glen Johnson, Antuwn Echols, Felix Trinidad, William Joppy, Keith Holmes, Oscar De La Hoya, Antonio Tarver, Kelly Pavlik, Jean Pascal, Tavoris Cloud

Losses: Jermain Taylor, Joe Calzaghe, Chad Dawson.

    Muhammad Ali Past 30:

Wins: Ken Norton, Joe Frazier, Jerry Quarry, George Foreman, Earnie Shavers, George Chuvalo, Floyd Patterson, Ron Lyle, Jimmy Young, Leon Spinks

Losses: Leon Spinks, Larry Holmes, Trevor Berbick

Archie Moore Past 30 (using the 1916 date):

Wins: Jimmy Bivins, Harold Johnson (several times, and he's an ATG at 175), Joey Maxim, Bobo Olson, Bert Lytell, Leonard Morrow, Bob Satterfield, Nino Valdes

Losses: Ezzard Charles, Rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali, Floyd Patterson.

    Draw: Willie Pastrano

Archie Moore & Bernard Hopkins are in a class by themselves. What they accomplished & still going in Hopkins case is incredible

    Bhop from 30-39 has a **** resume

His legacy is that he can still box in his 40s

Vitali in his 40s is infinitely greater

    Pacquiao turned 30 in 2008

Pretty much confirms he is the goat at 30+ years

    He has Hatton
    Cotto
    Clottey
    Margarito
    Shot to **** Shane
    And Jmm on roids
    And Bradley as his wins

Easily the 30+ year old goat in boxing history

Mercado, Jackson, Johnson, Lipsey, Brown, Allen, Echols, Vanderpool, Holmes, Trinidad, Eastman, were all solid, legit top ten middleweights when Hopkins fought them. The versions of Mercado, Johnson, Lipsey, Allen(the first two fights), Echols, Trinidad, and Eastman, all probably would have beaten Jermain Taylor. The Robert Allen from the first two Hopkins fights would have a belt today at middleweight.

Tarver, Wright, Pavlik, Pascal, and Cloud were all solid wins for Hopkins at light heavyweight. The fact that he moved up and beat those guys at his age, with a very limited arsenal, and no finishing power, or stamina, is amazing.

He also has shown more heart then some of his contemporaries who didn't have the balls, or guts to challenge themselves. People harp on Hopkins being 48 and picking and choosing his fights, when you have guys who were still in their thirties and scared to fight young bucks, instead choosing guys they deemed to old to be a threat.
