I have a fight on july 10th. it'll be my second fight as a senior as the guy is 22 yrs old (i just turned 18 )he just had his 10th fight and I just had my 32nd. it'll be in his hometown and it'll be outdoors.
Yeah, I really felt like I could have fought a lot better, and should have, but I got my feet wet and got the win, so you know.
On Saturday I will start my season with a fight in Oslo against Obed Mbwakongo of England. I'm fit for fight and have my tactics ready. Some of his achievements: 2 times English Senior Champ Silver in the EUs Bronze in the Cadet World Champs Bronze in the Junior World Champs
i got a fight on the 2nd of october in my hometown im feeling really ready for it, really want to put in a good fight. and im feeling a much better boxer. good luck Znaak, not that luck is anything
yeh cant wait been training extra hard and im alot stronger-fitter-faster-more technical taping some sparring this week so ill up it to see how you guys think im getting on.
I'm probably fighting in October. Let's hope it's not a southpaw because my southpaw sparring partner and good friend broke or displaced his jaw in sparring tonight. Not sure at this point, as he's not back from the hospital yet. I hope he'll be okay, but my guess is he won't be fighting or sparring in the next few months. It was really ****ed up because he realized that as well and was barely able to suppress the tears. I really feel for him, he's in awesome shape and gave me a hiding last Saturday in sparring. All that work, out the window. Ps. no I did not do it.
not so good but tahts boxing aint it. shame though i do hate southpaws but thats too far. i hvent had any southpaw sparring (just a switchhitter)
He's actually a top bloke, you don't meet people that honest very often. There are a few people in the gym whose jaw I would not mind being broken, but he's not one of them. Until now I got southpaw sparring multiple times a week, I think I sparred about 40 rounds with him just last week. I'm actually rather comfortable sparring them, although it does present problems with footwork mainly.
Have a fight on Saturday. I haven't fought in nearly six months due to fights getting canceled last minute, an injury and not having any opponents available for me. Been training hard the whole time and I'm excited to finally get back in the ring.
Lined up my first fight for Oct 17th. Going to start my roadwork this week. Been training 5 day's per week since end of April (come fight night 5.5 months), fighting at light heavy. Any words of advice for preparation etc?
