Hmm. That's not much then... Just keep your hopes up and stay in there! Almost 6 & 1/2 years now. Didn't fight until after two years of training.
It's been a bit up and down lately with fights. I just know that I'll meet a Dane on March 20th. It will be pretty good media coverage, talked to the mayor today, and maybe he'll come see. The weekend after that it's time for the Norwegian Nationals. And on March 12th I'm off to Stockholm to train with Sweden's national team. They have a pretty strong team, so will get some good sparring.
znaak, so i take it you didn't break his unbeaten streak. got a smoker/interclub on march 14th. basically a glorified sparring session but it's my first step towards competition since my first bout went badly in 03. this is muay thai by the way, first fight was chinese san shou (punch, kick, throw).
good luck to you lads who are fighting.as my days in the ring are long gone,i'm very very jealous/envious.
thanks turpin are you a trainer now as you ahve alot of knowledge and if your not a trainer it owuld be brillaint for you to pass it on to boxers
thanks mate, i appreciate that .i did have a go at training kids and was in the corner with two of them(they lost).it was wierd and i wasn't any good. there was a kid with a lovely natural left hook i was training but the little sod packed it in.
