Going into his fight I feel that many people believe Ward will win this. Not saying he wont, but Froch has a hell of a resume.

His last 5 fights consist of wins agains Pascal, Taylor, Abraham, Johnson, and Dirrell. With his only pro defeat coming against Kessler in a close decision.

So, baically my question is; Would Andre Ward be undefeated with that resume? Also, Do you think Froch has an advantage coming into the fight because of his opposition, or is Ward just too much for him?

Froch's resume is impressive and it shits all over on Ward's resume, but styles make fights and I think Ward is the favorite going into the final. He is a very tricky fighter

I don't really think their resumes will play a role for the outcome of the fight.

Froch needs to be much better than he was against Johnson. In that one he was remarkably passive for the first half of the fight. He needs to fight like he did against Kessler or Abraham in terms of attitude and willingness to fight. He needs to be more active than against Kessler. Ward shouldn't be able to get Froch' respect in terms of power, but Ward do punch from angles and punch a lot.. so we will see how Froch likes that.

Froch's loooooooooooong arms may also make him extra vulnerable to inside fighting... and Ward likes that. So we will see if the ref allows a messy fight with a lot of holding, rubbing and sliding body to body sweat exchanges..... if he does, then Ward has a huge advantage.

If the ref wants a cleaner fight and breaks them up every time they clinch... then Froch has a chance.

Taylor was damaged goods everybody knows that... Abraham isnt a solid super middleweight the power just hasnt moved up with him. Johnson tuff SOB but lets be real older and get this Johnson was hurting Froch to the body in that fight Ward will make sure Froch hits the canvas as he wont run out of gas as quick.

Kessler beat him close but Kessler won...

I dont think Froch has an advantage comming in becuase of the long amatuer background that ward has, and its not like ward hasnt fought some tuff guys neither...
I like ward in this fight and he will get his first stoppage in this series over Froch due to the body shots...

Question though, how does this point system work with the super six? whats the point of the points they have all scored? :think

Which ever two fighters have the most points meet in the final. Ward has 6, Froch 4.

All good points guys, but this is going in a different direction. I was more so asking if Ward would be undefeated with the same opponents or if Froch has an advantage with his tough resume. Some of you guys have answerd that though. :nut

Well let me say this, Ward will go to that body its no seceret but if you saw the last half of Froch's fight with Johnson you would notice that in I would say about the 9th to the 11th Johnson was hurting Froch bad to the body, you could see it in Froch's face and in his body langauge.

Now if a mother ****er like me can see that, why wouldnt Ward be able to ****ing see that, the difference here is Ward is not an old man who will get tired and slow down... and lookie here, to make **** even worse for Froch, I dont beleive Froch understood just how big Ward was until he stood next to him during the post fight interview after he fought and beat Johnson.....

I like Ward by stoppage~ call me crazy but thats what I see comming....

You never know until they step into the ring. However, you would have to favor Ward over everyone Froch has faced. We do know though that Froch wouldn't beat everyone that Ward has faced. As far as Froch's resume helping him, I'm not sure. On one hand, all the different styles he's faced should help him in this fight. On the other hand, so many tough fights could take it's toll on Froch.

Froch coasted past Johnson he said in the post fight interview he was in second gear.

Ones thing for sure it wont be an easy night for either fighter.

Froch was robbed when he fought Kessler. Froch won that fight and could have knocked Kessler out if he had tried. This was in Kessler's home town. Now Froch has to travel thousands of miles to fight SOB Ward in America, yes, it will be Atlantic City, but it's still America with Ward's judges and referee. Ward should have to travel over seas to fight.............
