Has anyone heard any rumors (pro and con) from Vladimir Klitschko's training camp?

Has anyone heard anything -- negative or positive -- about how Vladimir Klitschko's training has gone? I know he closed camp on July 5th. So far I haven't read any reports about how he looked in sparring, or anything else for that matter.

    Any news or rumors?

I saw some press conference pics of Wlad and Thompson. Wlad is at least 2 inches taller even when factoring in Thompson's unusually long head.

Don't buy the hype. This fight won't last long. Wlad KO 2.

All the people predicting a win for Tony will immediately jump on the message boards after he losses and say that Wlad doesn't fight anybody decent and is overrated.

Corrie Sanders has not been in Klitschko's training camp.

I didn't think he needed a training camp for this fight frankly.

The way I see it, Klitschko would have to be out of shape or somehow sub-prime in order to lose this fight. That's why I am interested in knowing how his training went.

Thompson is a big, slick southpaw, which reminds people of Corrie Sanders. Thus, I can see why some people are thinking about an upset. But Thompson doesn't seem to have Sanders's hand speed, and he definitely lacks Sanders's punching power.

Without the speed and power to compliment his size and southpaw stance, Thompson is probably ill equipped to beat Klitschko.

Wlad is a much different fighter than when he fought Sanders. His defense under Steward has improved 100%. Speaking of Klitschkos, has anybody heard anything about Vitali's comeback, or lack thereof?

If Thompson had better power I would give him a much better chance, because of his assets that you describe. But Thompson's lack of serious power will probably encourage Vlad to walk right through him.

I have heard absolutely nothing about Vitali training, sparring, or preparing seriously in any way for his comeback. I don't expect to see Vitali in a ring again. He talks a lot about it, maybe, because he's having a hard time letting go of his past life as a star athlete.

Probably a good thing. Comebacks don't usually work out quite like fighters think they will.

Wlad is always in great shape. An upset is very unlikely.
