In action? Swear to god that guy was the second coming of Henry Armstrong. He NEVER stopped punching. Last fought early in 2006. Was on an unbelievable winning streak and then he just... disappeared after a loss. http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=025610&cat=boxer His fight with Shigeru Nakazato's been likened to a Eastern Vasquez/Marquez, and I agree after watching it. Anyone?
As for Shigeru Nakazato, he had a two fight series with Oscar Larios a few years ago, if that helps anyone remember.
there was a big riot on esb when his fight with somsak wasnt even included into the fight of the year lists by the ring.so the ring mag had a look again...and unbeleivably changed there decision and pu tit to number 1 it was an incredible match he gave so much in that fight he backed somsak up and poored body shots all over him then you saw him get tagged with somthign stupid like...54 uppercuts in the 3rd round or somthing...absolutly crazy. great little fighter. defintly world class but was just too one dimensional. he also took a huge beating in that fight in the last 3 rounds. i just looked up on boxrec ans it seems he was 31 years of age when he lost. you never know. he coudl have a family and being a 31 year old family man it means you cant get beaten up. anyways being a wba champion is a big accomplishment.
