Tyson Fury, in just his 2nd pro fight, only 1 month after his pro debut, took on Marcel Zellor.

    Marcel had a record of 21-3 with 20 KO's.

Fury Ko'd him in the 3rd round. And fury isnt even a fighter with an extensive amateur background.

    Fury's a G

Is there a more impressive 2nd fight than that?

I think Floyd had a slightly tough 2nd fight. (Believe it or not)

He was put in with a lefty in his 2nd fight, really had to box Sanders in that fight.

Reggie went on to have a rather unsuccessful career, but fighting a lefty for your second fight definitely ain't easy.

Not as impressive as Fury's but still Floyd had to work to win against Sanders.

fighters that have impressive amateur careers like floyd and oscar, normally jump straight into it, fighting guys with winning records.

What i find impressive about fury's, is his amatuer career wasn't much, but they still through him right into it.

Rigons 3rd fight was against Andrade who was 59-11

Rafael Marquez pro debut was against 39-14 former world champion Vicotr Rabinales which Rafael lost by KO in round 8. i would say that beats fury by a long shot

Pete Rademacher's first two fights were Floyd Patterson and Zora Folley so I would say Yes.

Being the boxrec warrior that I am ;) Zellor didn't exactly beat game boxers to build that record up.

I remember watching the fight, because fury has been telivised since his pro debut, but i don't remember the guy looking that good.
