Has anyone in boxing history robbed their way to the top more efficiently than Canelo Alvarez?

    v. Trout -- First 'big' fight. Very close. Arguable victory but with some outrageously lopsided scorecards. 118-109 was ludicrous

    v. Mayweather -- Lost this one obviously. But the scorecards didn't reflect how one-sided it was. 114-114 was ludicrous

    v. Lara -- Extremely close fight. Perhaps arguable for Canelo but 117-111 was ludicrous

    v. Cotto -- I think most agree Canelo won this one legit. However, once again, some outrageously lopsided cards don't reflect that it was close and competitive. 119-109 ludicrous

    v. Golovkin I -- Close but decisive loss for Alvarez here. 118-110 a contender with CJ Ross for the most ludicrous card ever in a major fight.

    v. Golovkin II -- Once again, a close but decisive loss. This was narrower than the first and the cards were not completely beyond the pale, but after someone has gotten the better of so many close decisions and happened upon so many generous scorecards it's hard to take this with much legitimacy. I still have yet to see Alvarez definitively beat an A level fighter.
