I've been at it for several years and was wondering if anyone here is a fan? Was curious how gambling on the sport has changed over the years, if at all. Was it bigger during the days of say the Fab Four, betting among groups of friends and what not... Stories of big wins, big losses, whatever. Even hearing the odds from fights long gone by is interesting in my book, I love that stuff. Have at it!
Nope sorry. I considered it for a second and made a ban bet for a month that Kovalev would beat Ward in their first fight. I took that as a message not to gamble. Oh ... wait. I did bet with a friend on the outcome of Mayweather / McGregor. He was convinced Conor would KO him. But, that's not gambling, that's money in the bank.
Me. Since the 70's. Don't do it as much now & certainly prefer the good old days of bookies instead of casino's.
