Well, after Jacobs there should be NO questions about Golovkin's chin OR defence. He managed to slip, parry and duck an awful lot of Jacobs' punches, and when DJ landed some flush bombs they had zero effect. Grade A chin all the way.

I've seen this long ago, and this is the worst ggg been stunned throughout entire career, recovered like a G and was assaulting Amir something terrible less than 30 seconds later. Last guy to see the cards till Jacob's. Ggg was much more offensive back then, he was 26 and entering his absolute peak

He was better, then IMO. He is more of a killer now but not as good at outpointing his opponents as a result. In the amateurs, he didn't have other worldly power and was from the computerised system era - I'd have picked a pre-Sanchez Golovkin to beat Jacobs (convincingly).

 

Busta, You saw that great 1-2 that Jacobs landed on GGG. And Danny is a strong puncher, I'd say stronger than Canelo.

If Canelo stops GGG it wont be with a head shot, but with a liver shot. That dude has a one great strong F chin. Thats one of the reasons he's so aggressive and goes all out attack
