Good, but not as good as his win over JMM would advertise him to be.

He is a good fighter. Not great but solid. He did not beat Marquez if i remember right. Dont remember if i scored it but I dont think I had Marquez winning.

So surprised with your comment. The die hard fans of JMM did not even complain coz they knew their fighter lost fair and sqaure!

90% of the people who say they've seen John-Marquez on this site are lying and just copying what they've seen other people say.

John's not very exciting to watch though. Fights off his back foot, waits for countering opportunities, doesn't exactly run, but definitely doesn't press the action. Doesn't throw his punches with a ton of force because he doesn't get all his weight behind them.

stand up type boxer/very light on his feet/fast hands/in and out in and out 2 maybe 3 punch combos at a time.

the ref loved himself in the JMM fight .

its hard to get in a rythem and timing v john because he is constantly on the move and is hard to corner.

only ever seen highlights of the jmm fight so not enough to base a overall assesment of him.

obviously must have a good chin as well.

    Thats not true.......

.....most never got to watch the fight because it was never televised....thus there was'nt a big outrage over the decision because very few even watched it from downloading it over the net.
.....those who downloaded it over the internet saw a first rate hometown robbery.

It was'nt even close.....anybody who watched it without bias would honestly struggle to see a round to give to John.

John fought a survival fight and was handed a hometown decision.
    Its that simple.

If you call his counter style running then so is Mayweather , He may move around alot , but he also throws alot of punches , no way is he a runner nor is he a *****.
