    Since he's your idol (and a good one at that), I assume you've read his book, "Victory Over Myself"?

    Yes, they are added in.

    This is from Big Fights, Inc.'s collection; Jacobs/Cayton (who was good friends with Patterson).

    Good stuff. I love the warm colors the film of that era deliver; especially with old baseball footage.

    I talked at length with Patterson, he was a truly exceptional man.

    If you want to understand even 10% of him, it's through his book.

    One of the best days of my life that I'll remember if I live to 300.

    I could write pages about him but suffice to say that he was beyond classy, unbelievably well-mannered and gracious far beyond the call of courtesy.

    He's one of my idols too.
