Has Arum Been Protecting Manny?

  1. Hey douche bag, Pac in December 08 came up 2 divisions to fight at 147 as a huge underdog against Oscar, the Mosley Marg fight took place in Jan 09. Pac took on Hatton at his natural weight after that. He took on Clottey as a replacement for Fraud Willnever after negotiations broke down. You must be a Fraud fan and I am sure you will come up with the usual excuse of why Maynever did not fight Mosley earlier Blah Blah Blah
    Stop with your gay excuses

The Clottey win was a very legit and awesome win. Had Clottey come to fight, the win would have been more memorable.

I'm talking about fighting Mosley instead of Cotto who was the real number 1 guy in the division. They straight up told Mosley they weren't fighting him because he was too good. Even wiki says it :deal

    Protected? yes he was.

Why did he have a 3rd fight with morales when he could have fought Marquez.

arum is good at picking fights he can win.

he fought mosley late and they admitted that he looked bad.

Ive no problems with the Cotto fight however he was coming off an ugly performace against Clottey and not to long ago was stopped by Margarito who may or may not have used loaded gloves not to mention his training issues prior to this fight.

Cotto now has a trainer who unlike steward has brought out the best in his style rather than become safety first and is at a more comfortable weight

The Margarito fight was a scandal for so many reasons.
    - The belt was at 150 for a 154 title
    - Niether fighter was ranked at 154
    - Margarito was coming off a year ban following a KO loss to Mosley

As for Juan Manuel Marquez, they have tried to catch him at his worst every time theyve fought :

1- Marquez wasnt originally seen as much of a threat (especially during round 1) however he got back up and won virtually every round to get a draw

2 - 4 Years later Marquez had lost to Chris John in a close fight and was coming off a win against Barrera (who Pacquiao stopped in 11) where Marquez was dropped however Barrera recieved deductions for hitting Marquez when he was down

3- another 4 years later Marquez was dragged up two weight divisions after he went life and death to stop Juan Diaz, Dominated by Floyd Mayweather and dropped by Michael Katsidis and still managed to shock Pacquiao because unlike his first 2 fights he wasnt dropped once and controlled the pace of the fight beautifully only to be robbed.

Arum is protecting Pacquiao from crippling Floyd. He knows that health would come first for Floyd so he's protecting Pacquiao from that.

Oscar De La Hoya's previous two fights were at 154 (one of which he lost to Floyd Mayweather) and was then dragged down to 145 where he wasnt allowed to rehydrate coming in the ring at 147 whilst Pacquiao actually weighed in at 148 1/2 on fight night.

Now not to mention that De La Hoya had retired previously and his best days were behind him but to also come in that light (especially with his cocaine addiction) and your calling that a genuine win?
