Just as people heavily picked Hopkins as the betting favorite because of his size, they did the same for DLH because of his size and he was drained and boiled down to 145 anyway. So what's your point?

Common sense will tell you the truth who is protecting his own record.

    From 2008-2012

Floyd to protect his record he only fought 4x and didn't mind doing his dirty tricks against bum sucker punched Ortiz, weight cheated lightweight Marquez , 38 year old grandpa Mosley and past prime Cotto.

    From 2008-2012

Pac fought 10x in 5 different weight classes.

Now let your common sense see the truth who is protecting his own record. It will not take a rocket scientist to figure that out except to those Floydiots.

Roach talks about before the Oscar fight how he wasn't looking the same anymore and was getting busted up in the Forbes fight. And also how he wasn't hungry anymore

experts gave pac slim to none chance when the fight was first announced...and you think arum was protecting pac???

...and 10 months before the dela hoya fight, pac was fight 17 pounds less at 130.

Roach is an idiot who always underrate Pac opponents. Floyd is the opposite. He praises his bum/past prime opponents to make his win look spectacular.

    sheeet!

Roach was justifying the fight, experts were calling this fight a mismatch..a circus fight.

UliUli was predicting Pac will get murdered with the jab alone.

Philippine Congress tried to stop Manny from doing this fight.

Well you got one guy who picks opponents because he sees flaws and another guy who picks guys because they looked impressive :think

Floyd watching Ortiz: "Damn, he looked good in that fight. We should fight him next"

Pac (his team): "Cotto doesn't look the same since Margarito. He barely scraped by Clottey. This is the prefect time to get him"

It's too bad I wasn't on this site yet because I said Pac would beat Oscar. I picked Ricky to beat him though

Remember Floyd sucker punched Ortiz and it has nothing to do Ortiz being looked good before the Floyd fight. He also fought Cotto 5 years later instead the young prime Cotto 5 years earlier when he retired.

Both Pacquiao and Mayweather are to blame for them not fighting each other. Arum is a snake and definitely is out to make the most for himself, but he could have done that by Manny and Floyd fighting each other, regardless of weather Manny wins or not. I don't blame Arum for Pacquiao-Mayweather not happening, I blame the fighters themselves.

What does Floyd sucker punching Ortiz have to do with him picking Ortiz as an opponent or how he looked vs Berto?

I believe the only time he may have avoided guzman in his days were at bantam, but not during featherweight. He fought marquez who is more of a risk instead of guzman so its hard to believe he didn't took risk during that time. Its at featherweight where he took the most risk during his entire career, that is why he got his first decision loss there to morales so no he wasn't protected then.

After DLH then he became protected.
