he is boxrec.com p4p no1 (dont know how though). he had a good win against kelly pavlik almost a year ago. however he hasnt fought since, hasnt signed to fight, and to my knowledge doesnt seem close to signing to fight anyone. is he gonna fight on? i mean hes 44 years old now you would like to think sooner rather than later.

Rumors have it that Adamek and Hopkins are setting up a fight in January, and Hopkins on FNF a couple of weeks ago said he would like to fight the winner of the Dawson-Johnson fight.

So, I don't think B-Hop is retiring just yet.

No, Adamek is an easy win. There will not be an easier belt to be picked up around there. The winner of Suoer six and Dawson are both much steeper suggestions.

BHop will never retire. He'll just take long furloughs from being active.

I don't know about Adamek being an easy win... If you're talking about decision territory for BHOP than ya, I think the judges might favor the guy.... but then again he's old and sometimes the judges don't gift older guys decisions.
Anyway Adamek has a great chin and will not get kd'd by BHOP especially if USS couldn't (maybe if BHOP was younger). I've also watched Adamek training in Philly on the net somewhere. He looks like he's picking up a lot of skills. Especially on the body work, he will hurt BHOP im afraid. Less money, bigger opponent, harder hitting opponent... not the fight BHOP wants.

He should retire. Sometimes we say that about guys ten years younger than him, but it just seems like Bernard will keep fighting until someone beats him convincingly. I hope he is not beaten convincingly, but it just seems like he will not retire until that happens. But at this age he cannot keep fighting for much longer without age diminishing his skills.

He says he'll likely fight the winner of Glencoffe Johnson - Chad Dawson if he does not get a reasonable deal with Adamek.

Hopefully we'll find out soon what his plans are.

Would like to see him either retire / change division or fight the Dawson / Johnson winner so we can see who is best at LHW.
