Has there ever been blood testing before a fight in the past? and Which fighters have agreed to blood testing a few days before their fights in the past?
Not that I know of, this is my thing. If they gonna do it.They might as well do it to every boxer mexican, blacks and other. We'll find out what performance enhancing suppliments or drugs everyone takes so it's out in the open.Levels the playing fields so now it's down to hard work, skillz and not boosting.
I'm sure it has happened before, but I do not think a big deal was made out of it like it is now. I can't confirm this as accurate or not because a poster did not provide a link, however, he said that there was a blood test before Morales vs Pacquiao I.. a fight Manny lost. Either way, this seems like a silly reason to throw away $25 million+ for. Unless you are doping of course.
With the amount of cheating that goes on in the sport, testing like this should be adopted in boxing for good. I am not saying Pac is a cheat, just saying he should take the test.
It happens in other sports all the time... Why not in boxing..? Whats Pacman shitting himself for...? I commend Floyd Mayweather on cleaning up boxing..!
I agree.. They should just do it from now on, blood test each fights.I am a *******. But pacquiao has to clear his name here. It's looking sussilicious right now. TAKE THE BLOOD Test A WEEK OR 2 from the FIGHT atsch
it's more than a table spoon u ignant *******. Do u know what you talking about? atsch one sample, another sample, another sample. wat U blabbing on about? have even had one done b4? :hey u like needles?
Actually you are the one blabbing. The USADA issued a formal statement saying that EACH blood test would only be roughly a tablespoon of blood. NOT A VILE. You are misinformed. Try to keep up please. atsch
Are you stupid the tests will be separated over time, it will be a TEA SPOON each time you idiot. Your blood will come back within and hour with that amount that has left your system. So yes it is only a TEASPOON WE AINT TALKING PINTS. A TEA SPOON DO YOU KNOW HOW SMALL THAT IS? Ive given blood before and they have taken much more than that, after an hour i was perfectly fine.
Where's the link? just a tea spoon? if that's the case then he should take it,or he must be hiding something.. Yep very suss. atsch
Travis Tygart, executive director of the USADA, said he had talked to representatives of both fighters about providing testing. Tygart said he welcomed the request as he would for any sport that does not have stringent Olympic-type testing. "I think every sport that wants to have clean athletes it's a sign of a step forward to have out of competition testing," Tygart said. "It's an essential thing to do if you want to protect the integrity of the sport. Clean athletes want a level playing field." Tygart noted Olympic athletes are tested often and without notice. He said less than a teaspoon of blood is removed out of an average of 380 teaspoons in the normal human and that it regenerates within an hour of being withdrawn.
