What part of PBF not being a WW either don't you understand? The difference is PBF is the superior boxer and that's why he can continue fighting far beyond his best weight and win while a guys like Hatton and Margo lose when they move up. It's that simple Lance. BTW it doesn't matter to me that the fight never took place at 140 because anyone with credibility will acknowledge that Ricky turned down PBF at that weight and prevented it from happening there blame Hatton but don't discredit PBF in the process.:hi:
Voice of reason from your local Butcher - Hatton does a lot better at 140 vs FMJ but still loses - this from a man that dislikes FMJ & quite likes Hatton. Mayweather is the best boxer since Chavez & Whitaker in any weight class... I dont like the fact but it gets called as I see it & thats the truth !
How is he not a WW? Last I looked, he was the World WW Champ, AND fought and beat a top 5 JrMW. You can try to play that **** all day, but no one wil lbuy it. Well, the other nuthugger will. Floyd's body matured into a WW. Accept it and get over it. And once again, you DO NOT know how to discuss anything properly. This is about Hatton and his status @ WW. You can mantion all the other fighters you want, typical distraction from the point, but it changes nothing. And what does Hatton turning down a fight @ 140 have to do with his ability @ 147? It doesn't. You seem to think posting Floyd's resume over and over, or circumstances for fights, or Floyd's weight, is your answer for 99% of what you post on. Is that all you know how to post? Records that anyone can look up and excuses or reasons fights never took place? Sure seems to be.
PBF isn't a real WW the majority of his fights probably 93% or so were spent at lower weights. He was a small WW at best and had no business there period. Due to his great skills he was able to still have success there but that's where you have it wrong just because he has success there doesn't mean he's a true WW. It's a testament to his greatness more than anything. Not to mention if you fight at 147 and on fight night you weigh no more than 148 or 149 gaining only 1 or 2 pounds you're not a legit WW, you couldn't be more wrong about this topic.:deal
It's not your call to say whether or not he's a WW. Floyd fought there for years. Fought HIGHER. Won a World title @ 147. He did not doo al that weighing 140 pounds. Whether he was small or not, he was STILL a legit WW. And you cannot say Floyd had NO BUSINESS @ WW, where he was the WORLD WW Champ, and won a fight @ 154, while still claiming Hatton was a good WW. That's pretty ridiculous to even suggest. What's also ridiculous is you think someone who weighed in @ 147 and above for a few years, WON the world title there and a belt in a class above against a tyop 5 jrMW, was not a legit WW.
You won't find many who will agree. PBF isn't a true WW. Like I said earlier look at what he came into the ring weighing for fights at 147 most fighters at 140 weigh more than PBF did on fight night at 147.:deal He was an ATG so of course he could move up past his best weight and compete at 147 and 154. Also he moved up to chase the money in Oscar and Mosley both of which fought at higher weights. Why is this so hard to comprehend?
I think you mean Enzo Calzaghe he really pisses me off with all his ridiculas statements i think alot of people hate joe purely because his old man cant keep his mouth shut!
Dude...saying "You won't find many that agree" is a total cop out statement and not even true to begin with. Bottom line is, when Floyd fought @ 147, he weighed 147. According to your faulty logic, guys who weighed in and fought the same day @ 147 where what....really JrWW's? All you can say is "Floyd wasn't a real WW" over and over. Yet everything else supports the fact that he was a WW. Small, but still a WW.
Floyd's gonna be more hated because of his great big mouth. I honestly believe half of the people who hate wouldn't if he wasn't to say...he was the GREATEST OF ALL TIME while ducking opponets *while* being in his prime!! If he wouldn't say **** like that he'd have a lot less haters. I think most peopel agree he was one of the best, but saying **** like that when you haven't really proved it pisses people off. So, No matter what Calzaghe does within boxing...He'll not be hated as much as Floyd.
Not only is Joe C. a better all-around fighter but he has fought the better competition. Don't believe me go to boxrec.com and compare their records side by side most will be very surprised unless they have paid close attention to each fighter's career.
And this is why he is more hated then Mayweather.atsch Nobody avioded Joe Calzaghe the guy acted like a complete **** for 90% of his career and now he fights a old Hopkins and a shot Roy and now he's the most avioded guy in the sport???atsch Get the **** outta here with this bull****.
