LANCE...when a guy weighs in at 147 the night before the fight and then cmes in 2 lbs heavier that means he can easily make 140...when gatti fought joey gamache he weigher 161 the might of the fight which was at 140...that is a big jww...when u gain no weight u are basically saying i know I should be at a lower weight class but there is more money in ww...not hard for even a nob fan to figure out...bottom line is PBF BEAT HATTON..NO EXCUSE and he would have beat him any weight they fight...he knocked him out...the guy landed on his face...and like a previus pater said so foolishly about calzaghe being better than PBF...PBF's record speaks for itself....5 titles...and no euromandatory fights

Keep in mind though hatton who was seen as the man at 140 after beating kosta, and declined a fight with mayweahter, so did a very young and green cotto at the time. So one can make a case to say who was floyd suppose to fight vivian harris?)
gatti-good but not great win if you want to see a fight that demonstrates his array of skills, this is the fight)
judah-(like the gatti fight a good but not great win this fight shows how floyd can adjust to a different challenge zab being a fighter that matches his speed, and a southpaw zab did well the early rounds but floyd adjusted and won clearly as the fight progressed.)

147 (This is the division that alot of fans and media feel his greatness is determined off of, and that is inaccurate. I admit this division was not really the highlight any of his greatness, but at the same time he had no business in this division anyway. I would have liked to see floyd vs margarito, cotto or williams as much as the next person, but it is what it is.)
baldimor (good win some argue that margarito should have been the opponent and thats a good case, however baldimor earned his shot at floyd moreso than margarito by beating gatti and judah, and capturing the WBC WW title in which floyd would later take from him.)
hatton (great win against a good pressure as well as body fighter who was undefeated. Hatton at times made floyd a little uncomfotable in the earlier rounds but as floyd has done before, he adjusted, tired his man out, and knocked out hatton a fighter with a pretty good chin. It is important to note that hatton was seen as the man at 140)

154-(Like 135 floyd went straight after the man of this division in his biggest fight of his career.)
de la hoya (Great win considering that floyd fights a taller guy who is in a division he never fought is a hof and a good all around boxer with some good power)

Other notes:

Has won titles at (130, 135, 140, 147, and 154)

Has a almost flawless boxing style and uses his defense well understands how to hit and not get hit (yet some of you call it running)

Unbelievable stamina and is a insane gym rat

Has fought most of those fighters in their primes the only case you can really make is De La Hoya and Oscar was not shot or done by a long shot, besides Oscar was the bigger man and had everything in his favor going in, including what division the fight took place (154). As great as calzaghe is, most of his noticeable wins happened when the fighter was not at his very best/prime (Eubank, Hopkins and lets assume Roy Jones). His other wins are against Kessler, Lacy and Reid which are all good.

What makes it even more amazing is doing all of this before your 32nd birthday. So to answer the question, no Calzaghe has not surpassed Mayweather Jr. In terms of greatness. To answer the thread question calzaghe has not passed floyd in hatred on this forum neither .
