Has Canelo ever been knocked down in his career? I haven't followed his whole career, but I'm gonna guess as no, because he has such a large neck, reminds me of Iron Mike's neck, and a wide frame. Both these features allow him to absorb lots of punishment.

Even GGG would struggle to floor Canelo, GGG would need to batter the life out of Canelo, before he would go down, he's not gonna go down from a single shot.

lol canelo would go down by legit 160

Canelo has not even taken hard shots from 154 fighters let alone 160 fighters

He was rocked by a 130 fighter

GGG would not need to batter him you batter guys like big ass martin murray who have tons of punch resistance

GGG would spark canelo brook and canelo are similar sizes

Cotto's brother stunned him but I do not recall a knockdown.

This would've been 6 years ago then, when he was 19/20 and very inexperienced. If you look at Canelo now he's much much bigger and stronger, it will be so hard to knock him down now.

Even if GGG outpoints Canelo, I can see the judges giving it to Canelo as they always do, Khan was out boxing him, yet Canelo was ahead on all the cards. So GGG would need to KO Canelo to win, which like I explained is going to be very hard.

lol outpointing? if that was the case canelo wouldnt mind fighting GGG

there is one thing in losing a decison against mayweather

its anther getting ktfo by gennady golovkin

golovkin is big and will knock canelo lights out lol and they know that themseleves hence why they cry they are 154 fighter lol

canelo stands no chance he will be lucky to make it out of round 2

I know he hasn't fought a massive puncher yet, but I'm basing my point on the way Canelo is built with that huge neck and wide frame. Only time will tell once he starts fighting at 160. If you see Iron Mike he could absorb so much punishment with a neck like that before he went down. Did anyone see Tyson go down from a single shot, like Lewis and Klitschko did? You had to batter Tyson and batter him again first before he went down. I expect Canelo to be the same.

Canelo will soon be a legit 160 fighter, he could barely make 155 was dehydrated. Obviously GBP playing it safe saying he's 154, so they avoid GGG for this year, but I'm sure it'll take place next year.
