Has Canelo ever defeated the #1 in any division without controversy?

I judge a fight completely unbiased .Who ever wins is OK by me as long as the "win" is legitimate. If I truly though Canelo won I'd say so but he didn't only in the eyes of biased Vegas judges. I dont hate Canelo at all

Typically GGG liking to fight naturally smaller men who have moved up in weight yet won’t dare face Andre Ward or Carl Froch at Super Middleweight.

 

I scored both fights for Canelo and his skills were the difference. First fight Canelo took GGG to sleek school 2nd fight he gave him the requested Mexican style and beat him.

 

Just as Delahoya planned it. Usually boxing robberies stick.

 

Well it should be 0-2-0 but GGG was the beneficiary of favorable "style preference" judging in the first match allowing him to retain his title with a suspect draw that he didn't deserve. And his fans acted like he got robbed what a farce.

 

They weren't worried about anything, cut the nonsense. Not everyone is imbecilic enough to be mindlessly drowned in the Golovkin hype like you. Cotto fought the likes of: Mayweather, Hands of Plaster x2, Pacquiao, Torres, Abdullaev, Alvarez, Trout, Judah, Mosley, Malignaggi, Corley and Maussa. Martinez fought the likes of Pavlik, Williams x2 and Chavez Jr.. Both are accomplished fighters looking to cash out big, and deservingly so. They have no reason to be "worried" about a farce who's biggest win at the time was ancient Ouma when they already proved themselves in the ring by continuously taking risks nonstop. They simply laughed at him when he was begging for a free payday and ignored him. Eventually, thanks to social media hype(because he continued to fight bums), Alvarez succumbed to the opportunity and gave him two free paydays he never deserved. The result is obvious ever since, he's barely relevant anymore.

 

Doubt De La Hoya is that smart.

 

Oh, they were worried, but the blown up jr welterweight Cotto didn't cheat like Canelo. GGG would have made easy work of Williams. Pavlik would have have been a good fight for GGG, but GGG was the better all round fighter than Pavlik, and GGG could take Pavlik shots, but I'm not sure Pavlik could take GGG'S shots. The over sized jr middleweight Canelo had to juice up for 2 years before he would dare get in the ring with GGG.He later got busted for it. As for Martinez, his mother didn't raise no fool. Martinez with that hands at his side style would have gotten himself KOED by GGG, Starting with the jab and eventually ending in devastating highlight reel fashion. Chavez would have been brutalized and out classed.Also, you need to stay consistent, if 4 division world champ Alvarez is a blown up jr middleweight then 4 division world champ Cotto is a blown up jr welterweight, in which case Canelo's win over him was no big deal. As I said in a previous post, every time Canelo stepped up to the top level the judges helped him out, starting with Trout, then Lara, then Cotto as seen by the lopsided cards, and then the rediculious GGG fights. He did beat Jacobs fare and square, and his win over what's left of Kovalev was a great win as well.

 

You must not have been paying attention. It was obvious that if the fight went the distance there was going to be trouble for GGG. It was known, if it wasnt a GGG style beat down then there was great danger of robbery as seen in bouts with Trout, Lara ,and Cotto. The Cotto fight shouldnt have been that one sided. The giving up his belt, the marination, the announcement by Oscar that Canelo will fight GGG in 16 months so he can grow into the middleweight division, even though he already out weighed GGG on fight night weights while fighting at 154lbs.

 

Fighters that made a career taking risks and fighting the absolute best are definitely not worried of a farce who's biggest win was Ouma.

 

None of Canelo’s wins over GGG, Trout, Lara and Cotto were robberies. To say that is humbug, bunkum and balderdash. Did Canelo deserve the victories? Yes he did. There is probably no bigger fan of Miguel Cotto than me a man who has only brought honour and dignity to boxing. I have always said if I had a son who boxed I would want him to fight like Cotto the same way I want my nephews to box like him. However when he and Canelo fought whilst rooting for Miguel I could not begrudge Canelo the win. Canelo beat Trout even putting him on the deck and while the Lara fight is debatable depending on what you like Canelo was the fair winner. As GGG we all saw who won over the 2 fights both at sleek school and Mexican style.

You know it really makes me laugh to see clowns like you STILL !! calling Antonio Margarito names. I was at the Cotto 1 fight sat ringside next toTony's corner. Tony LEGITIMATELY kicked Cotto's ass & made him take a knee & QUIT!!!!! Cotto congratulated him & took the loss. But the that lying POS Richardson told a blatant lie that started the BS loaded gloves . Suddenly Cotto was mad & suddenly remembered he thought Tony hit too hard ROFL He wasnt interested in a rematch tho until Pacquiao permanently damaged Tony's eye. The fight was a replay of Fight 1 except Tony was blind in that damaged eye from round 2 & Cotto STILL couldnt beat him legitimately had to rely on the crooked doc. We all know Mayweather was terrified of Margarito Have you seen the video ??? ROFL Good excuse for cowards like Mayweather & Oscarina to avoid him like the plague & ratlroad him to get rid of him
Guys like GGG Pacquaio & Margarito are FIGHTERS!!!!! not divas like Floyd, Canelo & Ward
