Anyone that's honest Frank know full well GGG beat Canelo TWICE but the Vegas judges gave Canelo bogus decisions. Canelo handed back the WBC Middleweight title rather than risk it against GGG & the WBC let him get away with it . Why doesn't Canelo Give the WBC belt back again & therefore he could rematch Dmitry Bivol @ 168 ?? But No instead he signs a 3 fight deal with the PBC & fights Jermall Charlo in Sept.
This fight should NEVER be sanctioned Charlo hasn't fought for over 2 years & having endured serious personal problems too. No way could he ever be at 100% in Sept Its another blatant Kovalev cherry pick fight by Canelo in my book. How any real boxing fan can support him I will never understand

I dunno. I have never really thought super highly of either guy. Both good fighters but def overrated. Both really never had boring fights.

Golovkin never took a single risk his whole career and imo was a phony and a diva. Canelo fought almost everyone and is (again) about to fight a guy that everyone said he would avoid. (although i don't know why because Charlo scares no one). Yeah he had favorable decisions and negotiations but he still fought the guys. IMO he lost some that he got decisions on but that most certainly isn't exclusive to Canelo. I would respect him more if he didn't use his clout to make fights fully to his advantage, but in boxing the guys that had the ability to do that ALL did.

Both are hall of famers but that isn't saying much.

The reality is that Golovkin has never reached the level of prime Alvarez. It's really too bad because he may have been a better fighter but Triple G's opposition doesn't allow us to know that for sure. Head to head doesn't help because Golovkin had three chances to beat Canelo and failed each time. Personally I think Golovkin won the first one and fought to a draw in the rematch. However, those aren't the facts and my opinion is irrelevant in that aspect.

I disagree there I truly believe GGG beat Canelo in both 1 & 2. The officiating was deplorable If he'd started fighting a round or two earlier GGG would have won the third too. Bivol totally schooled him too I'm sorry but I have little respect for either Canelo or Floyd both have inflated records, due I believe to simple corruption

GGG might have been the better fighter but he won’t go down as greater

I had GGG winning both fights 116-112, that was past prime GGG vs prime Canelo.

Yes, they are the same exact level, Canelo perhaps a little higher as he dared to be great in other realms (weightclasses).

    Agree with this.

It's hard to really compare because GGG only really campaigned his career in 1 weight division....if Canelo had stayed at middle then who knows.

True ggg stays avoiding fighter himself half of his career and no canelo clearly not only out pointed but beat him up bad in f2 then again in f3 done.

Canelo strayed from middle to cherry pick LOL Got whupped when he challenged Bivol though didn't he Even his hired judges wouldn't dare save him lol Now instead of being a man & rematching Bivol for all Gingers trinkets @168 Canelo signs with Al & goes after Charlo who hasn't fought for over 2 years & has had personal problems. Charlo wont be 100% in Sept fight should never be sanctioned but that's what Ginger does he picks onthose who wont be 100% Remember Kovalev ???????????

Canelo would have been better staying at one weight or subsequently gone from 160 - 168 where he would have preserved his body limits & faced guys around his dimensions, doing too much altogether might have hurt him now in the present.

Fogger my friend your opinion is closer to the legitimate scoring for both GGG 1 & 2 than the Vegas judges cards that's for sure they were blatant robberies
