Some judges's opinions can be just as ridiculous as yours, there's no denying that , but you have to accept that their decisions crap all over yours in the real world.

Physically he has improved. His raw strength is better now. Hes hitting harder now. His stamina is better, which used to be a major problem for him.

So while technically he may be doing essentially the same things more or less. Yet Hes still a flat out better fighter now than he was then.

Yeah that's fair, his stamina is better. That alone doesn't make him night and day a completely different fighter than lost to Mayweather, though. People act like he was B level than and now all of a sudden has made this cosmic leap to A+. In truth he was B+ then and has climbed to more like A- now.

He has definitely improved, his footwork is not as static.

Would this version beat JMW Mayweather? Probably, he has his man-strength and experience now.

Well did he completely and totally change and drastically improve? Not really. Hes a little stronger now. Hits a little harder. Slightly tighter technically. The only major improvement is his stamina.

So to literally answer the question. Has Canelo improved since the Mayweather fight? Or in other words is he a better fighter now than he was then? Simply put, yes.

But if you start saying hes a totally different fighter then I think that becomes a little agenda driven.

But GGG beat Canelo narrowly according to most viewers. Now go back in time to the Mayweather version of Canelo and have him them fight. If the fight was made in 2012 then GGG is the heavy favorite. Which goes to show that Canelos improvements are discernable or rather impactful.

I absolutely think so. Just looking back to the Cotto fight. If Canelo walked Cotto down like he tried to do to GGG in the second fight he probably could have KO'd Cotto.

I thought he lost 115-113 and 116-112 but he did perform well...but that doesn't mean he improved. Golovkin and Mayweather are different, and styles make fights...and Mayweather was always probably a harder puzzle to solve h2h than GGG in all honesty.
