A heavyweight Hatton would be devastating. Imagine that speed and volume punching on a 230lb man?

That's not how boxing works though, is it? A SMH Hatton would be a different fighter. You can't make a claim like that

A super Middleweight Hatton would be Glen Johnson with no chin

It means that Taylor is the only big name Froch beat and if Taylor didn't have stamina issues and wasn't on the decline, Froch was 14 seconds away from losing by a wide margin. Again, Bute is the only champion Froch has beaten.

If is a huge word and is what makes the difference between a champion and not! The way Froch dismantled Taylor in the last round gives the result even more kudos because he was being beaten / outboxed in almost every round.

Pascal went on to win light heavy belt world title, Froch then fought the best 6 super middles in the world they didnt all hold belts cos there isnt enough...oh wait a minute....anyway...

IMO I really dont think his quality of opposition is in question champs or not they have all been Top World level fighters. Well the last 7,8, 9 whatever it is.

A wide margin of 2 points? And Al Bernstein had Froch ahead, and had Froch knocked Taylor down again which he would have if the ref didn't stop it then he loses a split decision by 1 point?

    Wide margin my arse.

I think Froch overtook Hatton after the Bute win.

Froch in front now after Bute.

Hatton does have some very good wins. A past it Tszyu is still a handful, and quite a few tipped Paulie to put a clinic on him.

Hatton can always say he lost only twice to the best of a generation.

    I still go Hatton .

Hatton was competitve against Floyd in his biggest fight , Froch wasnt competitive for one second of his fight against Ward.

I also thought he lost Dirrell .

Both have great attitudes though and are / were a pleasure to watch.
