Froch for me, as fighters there isn't that much between them but his slate is better.

Hatton was probably more skilled, in that he could fight inside and outside, as opposed to Froch who can only fight outside... but he spent way too much time fighting bums rather than the top names.

He was more competitive with Floyd than Froch was with Ward, mind.

I just think his resume is better than Hatton's and for that reason he should be ahead.

Its almost become ridiculous comparing Rickys acheivments to Frochs at this point.

Why? He has won a world title, a genuine one. Carl Froch hasn't.

He beat the no.1 in the division. Carl Froch hasn't. You're a spastic.

by that logic, Danny Garcia has achieved more at 140 than Tim Bradley did

    :patsch

Froch fought Ward probably the future p4p no.1, got outboxed and lost the fight. Hatton fought the current p4p no.1 and got knocked out? Same pointless logic.

    Look...

    Pascal
    Taylor
    Dirrel
    Abraham
    Johnson
    Bute

A very close loss to Kessler

    Compared to...

    Tszyu
    Castillo
    Malignaggi
    Collazo
    Urango
    Lazcano

How is that close? I must be missing something.

The fact that Juan Lazcano is in the discussion of hattons best wins says it all about his resume

Precisely, all of Frochs top wins are against solid quality opponents, many occasions he was the underdog, wheras Hattons best win is a faded Tszyu (who retired after this fight, he quit on his stall thats how much he had left) and then basic fighters like Collazo and Lazcano.

I dont care if Tszyu was the linear champion he was not at his best, and even if was, its not enough to trump what Froch has done. Malignaggi was his best win for me.

What's the point? You, Phill Mitchell and a few others are just trolling aliases. I've been over this many times.

If you think Paulie is Hatton's best win you are a mong. You listed Lazcano amongst his best wins. Why? Phillips/Tackie were better victories. Agenda based drivel.

So based on that 1 fight his resume is better than Froch's? I thought you took into consideration all of the opponents!

Flea Man makes a valid point. Hatton did beat THE man at 140 and therefore became THE champion. This is a better single victory than any of Froch's, and an achievement Froch has never attained. But I think the depth of Froch's resume still puts him ahead of Hatton.
