NO, Froch's best win's are against blown up middle weight's. He has yet to beat an elite SMW- i.e Kessler, Ward or Bute. If he beats Ward then yes.

Possibly yes, however Calzaghe was the better fighter.

No! He needs to beat Kessler and Hopkins and Ward for that :)

Definitely. I think Calzaghe is the better of the two but Froch has gone out and proved his worth in every title fight he has had.

Calzaghe was content to play it safe more often with some soft defences.

His resume may be better, but that does not mean that Froch would win Vs calzaghe.

Calzaghe would win by about 4 rounds.

This is ESB, if they don't keep the gloves on then you'll both be hit with the ban stick. :patsch:twisted:

His resume is better. Period. I don't know how anybody can argue that. The only elite level SMW fighter Calzaghe fought was Kessler, Froch won his title against an undefeated #2 challenger, who went on to become LHW king and beat the likes of Dawson. Defended against Jermain Taylor, who beat Hopkins twice and was ex-middleweight king. Froch then fought Dirrell who was an ex-Olympic medalist and 18-0.

Froch has a chin made of steel, Calzaghe wouldn't have hurt him, never mind knock him out. There's more chance of Calzaghe being dropped. Dropped against Salem, Mitchell, Hopkins and a shot RJJ. Calzaghe would beat Froch on a very close decision. :rasta

Narrow points win by Calz. If anyone is getting dropped .. it is JC.

Stupid question. Of course it better by miles. Calzaghe sat in Wales all his career beating bums
