Has Chino Always Been That Dirty?

He hit Ortiz with a lot of rabbit punches. He tried to elbow Khan in the clinch and missed, and got a point deducted.

Not dirty in this case, but he obviously doesn't care much for touching gloves early on. At the beginning of the bout, Khan puts his glove out to touch gloves, and Maidana swings a wild right at his head.

By now, I'm basically used to fighters being dirty at times, but rabbit punching worries me as it is probably the most dangerous foul.

 

You lying POS if you had been watcing Maidana for years you wouldnt be asking this question cause you would know the answer.

I am one for following the rules, but i actually love his dont give a F fighting style... apart from the rabbit punches.

 

Yeah me too, I love his "fight like a raging psycho" style, but rabbit punches are dangerous and referees should be stricter on it.

Also that annoying " bend to the right" defense Floyd uses should be banned as it exposes the back of his head. From that position there really is no where else to hit the guy so IMO it is the same as a fighter turning their back.
