That's a question that also came to my mind. I think I've seen him throw a straight punch while shadowboxing as a warm up, apart from that, no. But why? Is it so hard?
why should he? would be a risky position for him cause fury could easily counter straight punch with his hooks eventually a jab would be good option, straight right hardly when fighting guy so much bigger then you. his general gameplan is getting inside and work body&head, throwing straight right from that position is impossible, maybe bruce lee`s five inch punch would do the trick :good
Chisora fights like he's a KO artist, but he does not have the power. The coming in low is a good strategy; but. he should use a jab to find his way in, and instead of a few big looping punches, he should throw tighter combos with higher punch volume.
Pretty sure that was his game plan for last night, but constantly eating a jab has a tendency to throw that plan to the wind.:yep
Needs a new trainer if he ever does return to the ring. Hope Don Charles keeps his word and sacks himself, absolutely clueless, has chisora fighting the same way with no plan b for years.
