well i think he has a chance, Vitali is 40, he may get injured in the fight, who knows maybe after that slap his game plan will go out of window, emotions F***k knows what else can happened
However slim it may be, he does have a chance, a very very small one at that. Watch the Chris Byrd fight and early Sanders rounds to see what happens when things don't go Vitali's own way. Solis had his moments in that first round too, before he folded. He could try fighting on the outside, using some speed to get Vitali to stretch out and then hit him on the counter, perhaps Vitali would slow a bit due to his age. When the time is right, jump in with combinations, upper cuts in particular, get inside those big arms. We know Vitali had a great chin, great power and his size has allowed him to dictate things. If someone really comes at him, someone with belief, with nothing to lose, who will be in his face and is decent enough to get in close to stop the full reach of those big punches then who knows. I'd like to see Vitali in with a great puncher etc, but sometimes someone comes along and wins who's really average. Has Chisora really done his homework? Can he block Vitali's jabs like Byrd did, can he move like Solis, can he land a punch like Haye, will he force Vitali back like Sanders did? Probably not. Someone really elite would probably struggle with Vitali tonight, even a 40 year old version. For someone really average to win either Vitali will have to be injured, a bad cut, or something else to get Vitali disqualified, or perhaps for him to fall apart with age (time catches up with him). Either way, Vitali wins 99.99% of the time here. :good
I agree with most points you made, except the 99.99% according to you bookies should have priced Vitali 1/99 I will give Chisora 29.99% to win
I rewatched the heleinus fight and Chisora looked good, he has a decent chin has good head movement & has never been put down. But I just can't see Chisora having the punch power or output to beat Vitali who throws about 40-50 punches a round. Having said that Vitali isnt the fighter he was so with all the uproar surrounding the slap and bad blood, the odds of an earlier KO have shortened a few points and I think the bookies have made a mistake by over emphasizing his early KO power from his recold. Looking at Vitali's last 5 fights (barring Solis inj) 3 have gone to the 10th rd before a stoppage & 2 have gone to pts. His Stoppages of adamek(cruiser), sosnowski (Avg) & Arrola who had no head movement shows he is no longer a big KO banger but he builds up to it by accumulation of punches. So can we make any money on the fight? Well with what Chisora brings to the fight a can see it going the distance so I think getting on the 4/1 about a klitchko Pts win is a very good bet with a small saver on Klitchko by stoppage in rd11 & rd12 (8/1 coupled). Looking forward to the fight now.
If Vitali injures himself or gets cut or gets old overnight, then I give Chisora a 10-1 chance of winning.
None. When you get completely clowned and tooled by Tyson Fury, you don't stand a chance against Klitschko. Baring some miracle, Vitali could be 50 and beat that wide swiging, slow, wild, no defense, dumb ****. How many David Haye avatars do you see now? David was talking like he was Braveheart, a Roman Gladiator or something, then afterwards, after fighting like a *****, he basically goes, oh I would of if I didnt hurt my little pinky toe. These trolls will be gone in a few hours.
He didn't have much before he slapped Vitali, now he has even less. He's basically gonna get beat up and knocked out in this fight.
Chisora is a limited fighter, he will be completely demoralised, outclassed and overpowered by the Champ.
