Looks more like a lager lout than a proffesional boxer at the moment, and hes being a bit too respectable too tony bellend. bellend is as delusional as ever, but cleverly isnt answering the questions in interviews and press conferences with any conviction. After Sergey Kovalev krushed his soul, is he still the man to beat the mouthy scouser? He looks like he has lost some swagger and youthful exuberance, slight ****yness. could of matured, could of lost a bit of self belief. Also at crusierweight, does he really belong there, was he dead on the scales like tony bellend or was he ousted out of the LHW division by kovalev. Anyway would like him to beat the tellytubbie tony bellend.
I don't think his heart is in the sport anymore. I watched Bellew and Clev 1 today and it was hardly a convincing win first time around in fact I scored it a draw. I hope he wins mind.
He talked of retirement last year and has come back for I presume a well paid domestic fight. I agree he seems to lack conviction, in fact they both do to me. How's it's ppv I really don't know.
Kovalev took his soul and fighting spirit. Nathan was N-E-V-E-R in any real trouble in a fight until he met him, and boy did he get given a reality check! That was a beating that, in my opinion, can stick with you for a long time.
:good Sergey kovalev dismantled him with ease. love that guy kovalev. :rofl not because he battered clevs he's just ruthless lol
Is Cleverlys trainer still his conditioning coach? Couldnt hack living away from his mum and training with Booth in London, says alot.
I think there was more to story than that, the missing mums home cooking line was his official response to the cameras but alot seem to leave booth. Think he's a good trainer but he seems to want control of his fighters in a managerial sense aswell which means not only taking the 10% it could mean he's taking up to 25% with the manager fees aswell.
If he is managing and coaching a fighter he would get 35% of the fighters purse unless they had some sort of agreement in place.
Yes mate, thats the split using the standard BBBoC contract. Other contracts can be used but the fighter would really need to have a good team behind him to make sure he wasn't signing anything silly!! If you don't have some legal knowledge it is defo safer for the boxer to use the BBBoC contract, I remember when Lee was leaving the Ingles we had a manager take up a contract to sign and it was the biggest waste of paper you have ever seen!! But we deal with contract for our company all the time and could see it was all fantasy numbers he was using!!
heart isn't in it. he was on about retirement after just one loss. something seriously amiss if you're questioning your desire to carry on because of one loss, regardless or how bad the beating was. bellew think nicks it. won't be paying for this **** though
Price, Groves and Haye also stopped working with Booth in recent months. So that may not be completely down to Clev.
When it comes to Bellew the fight doesnt affect him like it does for bellew who seems obsessed with it, then again clev was world champ for a few years and bellew never has been one so I'd expect bellew to be more motivated as this can provide him with far more than it could for clev
