Yep, it was a clear knockdown. As clear of a knockdown as when Zab caught Floyd with the counter left.
The Torres fight is the only one that he happened to go down, but at 140 he was badly hurt a few times, all towards the end of his time at 140 where he was draining himself to make the weight. 147 is a different story though. He was stunned by Judah, but not hurt. BTW, I give Cotto the benefit of the doubt with the low blows as he is not known for being a dirty fighter. Also he was not hurt by Judah, rather stunned IMO. If he used low blows to purposely recover, he would have used them against Torres or Corley where he was in danger of suffering a TKO loss to either fighter.
Floyd's easily can. He wasn't put on his ass. His glove touched the canvas. He wasen't rocked/wobbled like Cotto. Also, Cotto was being held by the ropes at one point and it should of been called a KD but it was not.
Shove? That was the weakest shove on the head I've seen. Cotto should of been able to stay up, cause the "push" wasn't anything. Cotto was hurt, held up by the ropes before in the round. Legit KD.
His legs gave out on him? Do you even know what happened to make Mayweathers glove touch the canvas? Cotto's KD is a legit KD. Mayweathers should of been called but having it not called wasn't a big deal.
cotto's was not legit eze and you know that... floyd got decked by judah and thats a fact, it was from a clean CHECK HOOK.....
Decked? His glove barely touched the canvas how is that decked? Cotto was hurt and went down. He tried to hold and Torres kept him off of him which lead to Cotto going down.
man eze, everytime i try to like you a bit you go back to the same **** cotto was madd hurt, but he didnt go down from a punch, he went down from a push... floyd wasn't hurt at all but that hook was enough to technically put him down....:deal :deal
I just disagree with you here I dont see how I mgoing back to same ****. You say Mayweather was decked. Decked to me is being put on your ass, or being rocked etc. Mayweather was knocked off balance, and "I FEEL" he didn't need the glove to hold himself up. It was just a natural reaction. As for Cotto. The way Cotto falls and sort of lunges at Torres makes me feel he was going down. 75 says he was going to go down. 25% says the push helped. To me it was more like Cotto was most likely going to go down. Tried to hold. Torres kept his distance and with Cottos legs being weak and the moment they were going in Cotto was going down. Do I care? No because Cotto should of had a KD called on him earlier in the round for being held up by the ropes. Do either of these KDs matter? No, both fighters respectively won their fights in dominant fashion.
Cotto was badly rocked and went to tie up, Torres stepped to the side and slung him to the canvas. This content is protected Foreman : "That was a pull down. Let me tell you, he was hit with some harder shots early on. This time he was actually wrestled down.""
I think it is irrelevant whether or not Cotto has been on his butt before...I have seen nearly all his fights, and for SURE, Cotto has been hurt BADLY by Corley and Torres. Really, what difference does it make whether or not he went down in the Torres fight, or if it was a push (it was a push in my opinion as well)? The fact is, Cotto has been hurt bad before and can be hurt again. I truly think that if Margarito gets Cotto in the kind of trouble he was in in the Torres fight, it will be over very, very fast. I really like Cotto, and I think he has improved MARKEDLY since the Torres fight, but after seeing the way he back peddled for the last four rounds or so against Mosley (I found that very strange btw, could not tell whether he was just hurt or tired), he needs to be 150% for the Margarito fight. I happen to think Margarito will pull this one out though, but Cotto is truly a great fighter.
