If Cotto fought like he did against Torres, Corley, or Malignaggi people would say he looks shot. The truth is he's a great fighter who is vulnerable and gets hit. He is exciting and a really terrific fighter but he's not Sweat Pea. He's gotten hurt against B guys, and against A's; Mosley, maybe Judah, Margarito, and Clottey he struggled against each. He won 3 of 4, which is fantastic.

It's annoying that people are so overly critical of great wins and great fighters. Give the man some credit, and equally importantly, give his opponents credit. There was never this indestructable Cotto who would tear right through Clottey, he's not that kind of fighter and never was. Enjoy him for what he is!

    Harrumph!

There's no question he looked worse against Jennings than ever before. He's been in a couple of wars, not just Margarito...he was visibly slow at getting set against Jennings.

I thought he looked a bit better than that v Clottey, but he looked like he might gas on occasion. He's lost something, sure.

He got Ko'd by Margarito. What would u expect. However, he looked like a wounded but hungry pit bull vs Clottey. I think he'll get better and better in time. Also, the loss was for his own gud!
