No, in fact sosa made him look uncomfortable at times, although the score cards don't really reflect the fact that most of the rounds were fairly close.
Cotto is well rounded and adapts to his opponent. He boxed against guys like Bazan and even Sosa because they were pressure fighters. As of late he has primarily been in with good counter punchers and boxers. If he fought against a guy who was a great pressure fighter like Hatton, I have no doubt what so ever he would box effectively. To suggest he has become a lessor fighter is just ridiculous.
He beat Sosa convincingly and Sosa had his moments but did not amount to anything to win him the round. Floyd bested him in those close rounds.
He did, but the victory is no where near as convincing as what Cotto did to him. There were still times in the fight were Floyd gave Sosa the opportunity to go to work, and IMo the fight was closer then the almost shutout scorecards suggest, although I do believe it was scored correctly. For example, IMO it was a closer fight then Baldomir v Floyd which had a similar score card. The reason I pointed it out is because to someone looking on boxrec alone it woulnd't show the close rounds that were there during the fight.
True...Sosa fought floyd a little different though..he kind of made floyd be the aggressor early and he came on the attack later. Cotto just basically pulvarized him.. Cotto is a talent.
Fair enough. For some reason I MUCH prefer you as a poster now(and before as TooPretty for that matter) then as shiftygrifts or whatever you were. Maybe because it was an alias or whatever and you didn't care, but you came across as an arrogant c*nt who just wanted to sling names at everyone. Anyway, I am over it, internet arguements are for nerds anyway. Be good to just talk boxing again and leave all the other bull**** behind.
Watch for the few moments he does decide to box with his 147 opponents. He is pulling off great **** against much better and bigger fighters.
