Greens purse offer to Mundine: 45/45 split. April 25th date
It is the offer Anthony Mundine can't refuse.
WA champion Danny Green has proposed a multi-million dollar rematch for a world title on Anzac Day in Sydney, with 10 per cent of the purse going to indigenous youth of Australia.
After defeating Roy Jones jnr in December, IBO champion Green said a revival of fighting Mundine was beneath him.

But today Green said he was now willing to fight his arch-rival anywhere, with the purse to be split 45/45.
On the back of what would be the richest and most hyped bout in Australian boxing history, the remaining 10 per cent would be placed into a foundation trust set up to benefit indigenous youth around the country, with the proceeds likley to run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
With the tagline of "More than Personal", Green said the date of April 25 would be perfect for the rematch – with Mundine being further tempted by Green's IBO Cruiserweight title.
"He has been pretty much living off one former past glory after he defeated me in '06," Green said.
"I came out of retirement, accepted the challenge and then he ran the other way.
"I have achieved two world titles since then, and his lack of achievement, people would say I am crazy to offer the bloke 50/50.
"We think it is a very special deal … and I think it is something that I cannot see Anthony Mundine possibly turning down and this is what is going to smoke him out of his hole.
"The other 10 per cent is going to go into a foundation that is going to be set up and run by both our parties to assist and fund and sponsor indigenous youth of this country.
"The opportunity to do this and the funds raised will be rather large – it is an investment in our future and an investment in the indigenous youth of this country."
After futile attempts to lure Bernard Hopkins and Antonio Tarver to Australia, Danny Green today reverted to his back-up plan – Mundine - despite calling him an "irrelevant pissant" who only fought "chumps and babies".
Denying it was a backflip, Green said Mundine had no fights planned anywhere in the world – so why refuse the biggest one?
"He has no obligations anywhere in the world to fight anyone, he has no reason in the world why he has to turn this down," Green said.
"There is nothing fairer than what we are doing.
"I don't see how he can possibly turn this offer down and if he does I suggest he check his passport and leave the country, because he would have to hang his head in shame.”
Green's manager ****** Manolikos said the title would definitely be on the line at cruiserweight, which would mean both fighters would have to be above the mimimum of 79kg.
"I starved myself for two or three month to make the weight (in the last fight)," Green said.
"All he is has to do … is not starve himself to make the weight. I will lose a few kilos, he does not have to starve himself and we will make the weight."
Mundine defeated Green on points in front of a 30,000 crowd at Aussie Stadium and a television audience estimated to be in the millions.
"He has a chance to be a legitimate world champion and to take my world title, so of course I will put my belt on the line," Green said.

He has shamfully abused hardworking nurses in public hospitals because they wouldn't give him his drugs. They were there to try and help him and he carried on like a baby the grub.

What about Grinning Greeny's passion for a fair fight at catchweights to drain his opponents and hand picking shot fighters, fighters who recently tried to commit suicide etc etc. What about Greeny's passion for abusing hard working nurses in the public hospital system. What about not refunding his fans after the Briggs fight. What a great Aussie he is.:-(
