    Jeez the sword boys and coffin cheaters made a heap of money off the Briggs dive. So did Briggsy with the $20,000 advance Greeny give him plenty of racehorses at Ascot or Belmont for them and a lovely new gym for Briggsy.

    I was having a joke making fun of the way perko goes on about money. And I doubt anyone cares all money has been paid out to the people who bet on the fight 4 years ago. But c,mon if you think Green-Briggs was legit you must also think OJ was innocent.:patsch

    Did Green copy Mundine? You make it sound as though Mundine's tactics to drum up interest & sell tickets was entirely original.

    There have been good & bad guy personas in boxing at least since Ali. Even longer if you want to include the likes of Jack Johnson flaunting his blackness & wealth in the face of what was a racist white society.

    Green was coached by a veteran of boxing in Fenech who had ties with Mike Tyson & had been on some of Donald King's undercards. What makes you think Green copied Mundine when he was surrounded by people who were well-versed in publicity stunts?
