Haye can maintain heavy momentum by fighting Adamek. Fan friendly fight, easy to sell, no one could criticise the choice of opponent, he keeps him name out there so the Klitschkos can not brush him aside if he eventually decides to have a crack at 'em regardless of the stipulations.

Although, honestly I'm starting to think he doesn't fancy the job. Let's not forget it seemed that way when Hearns-Hagler was first called off, and assume that in the interim few years before it came to light, a hypothetical Internet user from that time would've said 'Hearns is ducking' maybe Gaz can clear this up? Did Hearns receive the same stigma Haye did?

Let's hope Haye is more successful than Tommy if the fight(s) eventually comes off :yep

No mate, Hearns has always had a good rep. for wanting to fight the best, people accepted the hand injury at face value.

I'm sure the Hitman would have kopped a bit of **** for it on the General Forum if it happened today though!!

have always been given the impression it was Leonard that didnt want the fight right away.

If that is the case and Haye doesn't want the fight now and is waiting for more money or Vitali to fall away its as bad as not wanting to fight at all.

Also Vitali is going for Valuev. I dont think that fight is an option.

It was mooted when they were both hot prospects but Dundee didn't want the fight until both guys were going to get paid what he thought the fight was worth. It turned out to be a good bit of business.

but thats what 80% of boxing fans see it as. Me and you have spent weeks trying to defend Haye on the general and its pointless, mainly due to the face there more right than we are. Nobody care about what Haye gets paid, they just wanna see the fight. Plus K2 have said what they offered, its never been denied by Haye or Booth directly. The gag order.....its pretty much bull **** mate

The Klitschkos have played a blinder here. There seems to be some real dislike towards Haye for his antics and im sure they knew that the majority of fans would react like they have done if Haye didn't respond. Booth also seems to dislike both Klits so negotiations before and now are problematic.
Under any normally circumstances I wouldn't have a problem with the delay. It's his mandatory but the clock is ticking on his career and we need to see at least a competitive opponent if it's not Adamek or a Klit

I guess Haye needs to take the time to explain himself to the General Forum then. Saying any old ****, whether its true or not, seems to carry more weight than waiting until theres actually something worthwhile to say.

There's a lot of hate for Haye, whatever he does. If he took the fight, they'd just find something else to ***** about.

I don't think he's done anything wrong, other than keep his own counsel. It looks bad for him though. I really hope he's looking at Adamek, though the silence is getting very worrying.

Just to put the GF in perspective I was in a thread last week where Sergio Martinez was getting slagged of for "cherrypicking" for possibly fighting Mosely next after fighting Cintron, Williams and Pavlik in consecutive fights!

**** this fight and **** manny floyd

im just looking foward to fights that haver been made without all the bitcheyness and that

imo the reason haye would be holding out for more is for his retirement coz he know he cant beat them

i used to really like david haye and dont think money is the issue here

Fair enough but as much as you think the general is full off morons representative selection of what boxing fans think of Haye. Its Pareto's law.

Hearns had already fought Leonard, there certainly was no reason to think of him as ducking the best.
