haye has excellent conditioning, good boxing skills and real power. i think he can do well at heavy as long as he keeps that chin well protected, he will bring some excitement to the division,
Imagine the sheer panic if he's landing punch after punch and the HW in front of him just keeps walking at him.
I agree with that yeah, he still lacks some Inside fighting though and he needed his distance for Mormeck and Frag and he looked relieved when Mormeck finally caved In. Like Scurla posted someone like Ruiz could upset him on the Inside a bit. Chagaev's not a bad Inside fighter either, most Heavy's would look ugly against Skelton.
Someone like Valuev or Virchis won't go down so easy to his punches. I want Haye to do well like everyone else but I feel he's getting overconfident kinda, talking too much when he's only just cleaned out the Cruisers. He's not afraid to fight like Audley but he has Audley's cockiness. When he throws that straight right he can be hit still as well, a left hook Is most effective to hit him with and his legs went when Mormeck hit him with It and he ain't a puncher.
I don't know whether this is posted here before, but according to my mate who was at the ABA's, Adam Booth told several people that he will go the States shortly to negotiate a deal with Golden Boy promotions.
Oh he believes it alright and so do i tbh. Haye will be like a breath of fresh air to the heavyweight division and i woud rather have someone who believes in himself than someone like Wlad who does'nt. I'd like to see Haye get a shot at Wlad ASAP because i'm convinced that he'll KHTFO. I'd be more worried about Haye fighting Matt Skelton than Wlad tbh, and i'm not joking.
He might take everyone out with his power. But Tyson, Lewis, Hamed all these kind of big punchers have gone 12, what makes Haye think he is so special.
I never said Haye would take everyone out. Also when it comes to this **** heavyweight division, Haye IS special. On top of that the "Best Heavyweight in the World" is petrified of getting hit. Tbh i'd pick Haye to KO Wlad in his next fight.
Judging on his fight with Ruiz - he has no Plan B. He is quite one dimensional when the fight drags on a bit. And once Wlad starts controlling the fight with the heavy jab - Haye is going to be ineffective and look quite limited - and then eventually broken down - or taken clean out with a heavy right hand.:bbb
